Reasons Why: Join Literacy Action Center today

Ray, Ellen, & Ray give reasons why adults struggling
with reading should enroll at Literacy Action Center.

On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, Literacy Action Center was one of two featured organizations at the quarterly Family Self-Sufficiency Program Coordinating Committee meeting. (Read our June 2016 blog for more about this committee.)

Ray, Ellen, Ray, and Deb went to share reasons why other organizations should send struggling adult readers to our program.

Ray, Ellen, and Ray's reasons included:

1. We get help – from teachers, tutors, and other learners – that works for each of us.

2. We learn so well that we can teach others because we’ve got it – we understand!

3. We change. We do things that we’ve never dreamed of doing before. Why? Because we now have the skills.
