We transform English-speaking, low-literate adults, who live in Salt Lake or Davis Counties in Utah, into skilled, passionate, habitual, critical readers, writers, and mathematicians. We also educate community volunteers to work one-on-one or in group settings with these adult learners. For more information, see www.LiteracyActionCenter.org. My Trip to Vegas by Julie L.
My vacation was fun. We went to Vegas, my mom, sister, her two kids, and me. We got to see the musical of the Lion King. It was great. We went swimming, got in the hot tub, and got to see the NASCAR track. The track was my favorite part. I didn’t know about the NASCAR track until the day we went, my sister knew someone that worked at the track. That person gave us a ride around. I learned that the cars get up on the track and they go 180 M.P.H.
