Working at Literacy Action Program I have learned a lot. Not just school wise but also about myself.
I used to think that being an adult you should just know what you need to know. But we don’t. I always knew there were adults that could not read, write, or do math too well and want to learn more. I need to learn to spell myself.
LAC is a great place to learn. The teachers here work well with all the students. The students here get a lot of one on one time with the tutors. I am lucky enough to work here with all these great people.
I am learning just as much from the students as I believe they are learning from me.
