We transform English-speaking, low-literate adults, who live in Salt Lake or Davis Counties in Utah, into skilled, passionate, habitual, critical readers, writers, and mathematicians. We also educate community volunteers to work one-on-one or in group settings with these adult learners. For more information, see www.LiteracyActionCenter.org. What Can Become of Boredom By Margie
Mychele & I were bored and wanted something to do. So I said how about we tell a story by texting back and forth to each other. So we started texting the story. We fell asleep that night texting & finished it the next day. Our story is about 2 boys and their pet duck & rabbit. When we were finished, it turned out to be a pretty good story containing over 1500 words. We had fun doing it & weren’t bored for the moment.
