I was sent here by DWS to do hours for my monthly aid. When I first started, I was just trying to get my hours done. Then I saw that I was actually making a difference in the students’ lives. I have found myself also learning a lot of things here that are helping me with my college classes. So while I am helping and teaching the students, I am also learning a lot.
Literacy Action Center is a good place to learn a lot of different things, not only for the students but also for the tutors.
